Cynthia Salaysay is a writer and communications manager for small businesses in Oakland, California. For two years she was a food critic for the San Francisco Examiner, and has published articles in the San Francisco Bay Guardian, the East Bay Express, Modern Farmer, and Civil Eats. She recently completed her first novel.
Prior to her career in writing, Cynthia worked as a registered nurse. She’s made Reiki a regular part of her life for the past twelve years.
